Maternity and birthing services

This position statement sets out the rationale for QNMU’s position that all people who give birth in Queensland can access respectful, timely, evidence-based, and woman-centred maternity services, that are supportive of their choices. It should be read in conjunction with the QNMU position statements: Midwifery role in homebirth; Termination of pregnancy services; and Access to women’s reproductive health services.
